A lot of families will have finished for the year with the soccer, ruby league and netball seasons coming to an end. Others will just be getting started with the cricket and surf lifesaving seasons in full swing.

All these sports loving kids now have the ultimate goal to train and aim for with the city hosting the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Labor’s carbon tax is expected to increase the cost of living by $515 a year and even on their own figures three million Australian households, many of them on the Coast, will be worse off under the carbon tax.

Over the coming decades Labor’s carbon tax will cost the Australian economy more than a trillion dollars and see every Australian slugged $40,000 – the equivalent of a full years work for many.
