Game over for Broadbeach Bowls Club?

The Broadbeach Bowls and Community Club will be forced to close if the Gillard Government introduces a license to gamble, says Gold Coast MP Steven Ciobo.
The member for Moncrieff spoke about the fate of the popular club in Parliament while highlighting how the community will lose under Labor’s mandatory pre-commitment scheme.
“The Broadbeach Bowls and Community Club estimates that Labor’s mandatory pre-commitment, will be the final nail in the coffin for them,” said Mr Ciobo.
“It will be a blow to their club and a blow more broadly to the Gold Coast,” he said.
